ACT sophomores are working with Hooker Oak 7th and 8th graders, introducing the visitors to our studio and 2D animation programs.  Students are recording jokes in teams of two, drawing caricatures of themselves in Toon Boom and animating their mouths in synchronization with the audio of their voices.  It’s a fun way to get a chance to experience our labs and some of our software.  Everybody’s having a great time!

 

ACT seniors just returned from our annual trip to the Los Angeles area, where they visited studios and a recording school.  It was a wonderful trip and we all learned so much.  ACT students and staff would like to express our gratitude to LA Center Studios, Media City Sound, Los Angeles Recording School, Paramount Studios, and RH Factor Sound.  These businesses went out of their way to make this a remarkable experience for our students.  Also, a huge thanks to Liz Metger and Mary Flynn for putting together such a great trip!
